Anu Jindal is the author of short stories published in Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading, The New Quarterly, and Pioneer Magazine. His short story “Not a Bad Bunch” was selected by Amazon to be a Kindle Single and Audible audiobook in 2014. A MacDowell Fellow, Center for Fiction NYC Emerging Writers Fellow, and NYFA Immigrant Artist Program Fellow, Anu has held residencies at the MacDowell Colony, Headlands Center for the Arts, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, and The Lighthouse Works. He has also been the recipient of a Jerome Foundation Travel & Study Grant and a Research and Creation Grant from The Canada Council for the Arts. He earned his MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014, and currently teaches Creative Writing at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
