This page contains important grant compliance information and reporting forms for LMCC’s Manhattan Arts Grants recipients. Grantees should refer to Exhibit A of the LMCC contract for more detailed information about the total grant amount received and required crediting language. For questions, please contact us at CreativeEngagement@lmcc.net or (212)-219-3071.
Grantee Event Notification
LMCC grantees are required to provide information on the supported project’s public component by submitting an Event Notification form. Grantees are highly encouraged to submit the form at least six weeks in advance of the event but the form may be submitted at any time prior to the event. Submitting an Event Notification form in advance allows LMCC staff to promote grantee events on our website and newsletter and coordinate LMCC staff attendance, if possible. Please note grantee events are uploaded to the website at the beginning of each month. Grantee events that are submitted after the first day of the month may not appear on the website.
- Access the Event Notification Form here
Changes to Supported Activities
In the event of any significant change in the timing or scope of grant-related activities, the Grantee must submit a Change in Proposed Grant Activity Form. For more information about what constitutes a significant change, please refer to section 1.2 of LMCC grant contract and contact our staff. Commonly supported changes include a reduction in number of activities or project size, shifts in project's timeline and location.

Grantee Final Report
In order to fully comply with the requirements of LMCC grant programs, LMCC grantees must submit a Final Report no later than 30 days after the project ends. The Final Report form will allow LMCC to better understand the success and challenges of the supported project, report to our funders on the impact of these grant awards, and improve our grant programs and services with grantee’s feedback.
Grantees who are recipients of Creative Engagement and UMEZ Arts Engagement for the same project in the same fiscal year, can submit only one report for both grants using the UMEZ Arts Engagement final report form.
Grantee Award Logos & Guidelines
LMCC provides support for artist projects in Manhattan with funding from New York State and City agencies, the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone, and the Howard Gilman Foundation. By accepting a grant award, grantees make a commitment to publicly acknowledge LMCC and its funders.
It is important for grant recipients to properly credit and acknowledge the funding in all print & electronic promotional material related to activities supported by Creative Engagement, Creative Learning and UMEZ Arts Engagement.
Please refer to your grant contract for exact crediting language and instructions.
