Now in its 25th year, the River To River Festival features events from July to September that celebrate a diversity of artistic and creative disciplines. This year features a world premiere from Bill T. Jones, a performance by esperanza spalding, a new exhibition by Leslie Wayne, and more!

The Arts Center at Governors Island invites people of all ages to engage directly with artists and the ideas shaping our world – experience exhibitions, performances, open studios, and family-friendly, hands-on art-making workshops with artists from New York and around the world.

With Open Studios, LMCC invites the public into the workspaces and creative processes of the 2026 Cohort of Arts Center Residents. These open house events are free and welcoming, informal, and accessible to all ages.

An in-process showing of […/+*^%<>€£¥$&@!!!!^^^], an immersive performance by Moriah Evans that confronts the body as an ambivalent place of political and existential conundrums. The showing will feature collaborators Malcolm-x Betts, Chloë Engel, João dos Santos Martins, and Varinia Canto Vila.

LMCC’s SU-CASA Residency is a community arts engagement program that places artists and organizations in residence with older adult centers in Manhattan. Choose from a broad array of classes in every district of Manhattan, including documentary storytelling, improv, flamenco, ceramics, embroidery, tango, and more!

LMCC offers artist residencies and grants, as well as programs for the public including exhibitions, performances, and workshops.
