About Of Granite and Glass

Co-commissioned by LMCC and Arts Brookfield for the 2018 River To River Festival, Of Granite and Glass is part of choreographer Catherine Galasso’s 10-part series, Of Iron and Diamonds, based on Boccaccio’s 14th-century Decameron. Galasso transforms Cesar Pelli's grand marble staircase into a dramatic backdrop for a performance evoking failed spring breaks, ecstatic dance rituals, and sacred stair master routines. Part of a larger series inspired by Boccaccio's Decameron.

Dancers: Doug LeCours, Jordan D. Lloyd, Ambika Raina and Mei Yamanaka

Music: Dave Cerf
