For the closing concert of LMCC's  River To River Festival, and in celebration of Juneteenth with Battery Park City Authority, Guinean musician and activist Natu Camara will bring her vibrant band to Rockefeller Park and share songs from her new album. Her uplifting message is wrapped in a blend of afro-rock and soul that will inspire you to get up on your feet and dance.

Originally hailing from Guinea, Camara, now based in NYC, is a builder of bridges socially and culturally. Creating musical compositions that are powerfully constructed to bridge the global gap and bring people together, Camara weaves a beautiful tapestry of musical stories and visions of her beloved home.
