Discover the vital role urban soils play in repairing the metabolism of the built environment for sustainable growth and development. The Urban Soils Institute and LMCC invite you to delve into the Metabolism of Cities Part at this year's symposium.
At this year’s symposium, Metabolism of Cities Part, explore the intricacies of nature's metabolism and the interconnected metabolism of our built environments. Together, we’ll uncover challenges and seek real solutions for a sustainable future. Urban soils are the fundamental solution to the metabolism repair of the built environment for sustainable growth and development.
In addition to the Metabolism of Cities Part, Current Arts Center Artist-in-Residence Michele Brody will showcase a poster of her installation, Monarch Migrations, in the gallery. Be part of the experience by sharing your migration story on handmade milkweed paper, contributing to the origami butterflies suspended in her studio. Brody will also be providing symposium participants guided tours of her installation in the LMCC's studio space.
