LMCC Alumni have been busy winning awards such as the MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship, a Guggenheim Hugo Prize, and putting up work at St. Ann’s Warehouse, the Brooklyn Museum, The Kitchen, and more!

 

Okwui Okpokwasili wins the MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship for her choreographic work.

Update: Just Announced as Sundance Art of Non-Fiction Fellows. Article.

Kameelah Janan Rasheed

LMCC: Gallery Exhibition (GI) 2017, River to River (2017)

Lileana Blain-Cruz

LMCC: Process Space 2016

Update: She is directing a world premiere at Soho Rep that opens on November 18. Article.
