Cheers to the end of an amazing Workspace session! As we bid farewell to the transformative year of 2022-2023, we reflect on the growth, creativity, and collaborative spirit that filled our Workspace!

From brainstorming breakthrough ideas to forging new connections, this session has been nothing short of inspiring. We've challenged boundaries, embraced innovation, and set our sights on a future brimming with possibilities. Now, as we wrap up this chapter, we take a moment to celebrate our accomplishments, cherish the memories made, and gear up for what lies ahead.

LMCC’s longest running residency program, Workspace, is a nine-month studio-based program that focuses on the creative process and cohort development of emerging artists.

Workspace nurtures experimentation, creative risk taking, collaboration, learning and skill sharing through regular opportunities for dialogue with peers and arts professionals. Situated within donated office space each year, Workspace offers a unique opportunity to reimagine what it means to work in Lower Manhattan. Participating artists are provided round-the-clock access to semi-private studios spaces and are expected to engage with the cohort for the full duration of the nine-month program.

After a three year hiatus due to Covid, Workspace returned in the fall of 2022. Our newest and current cohort of artists includes Rachelle DangSherese FrancisCaroline GarciaJulia IzumiAnu JindalJessica Lagunasnia loveFiroz MahmudMatthew Sandager, and David Wilson
