Moe Yousuf is an accomplished non-profit arts leader with 15 years of experience in organizational strategy, fundraising, programming, and operations. As Interim President & CEO of the LMCC, Moe drives the organization’s mission to empower artists and connect audiences through residencies, regranting, and public engagement programs across Manhattan and at the Arts Center at Governors Island.
Moe’s career highlights include leadership roles at celebrated institutions such as BRIC Arts Media, Abrons Arts Center / Henry Street Settlement, and Target Margin Theater, where he successfully developed programs, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and fostered community partnerships. He has overseen the disbursement of public and private funding to hundreds of artists and organizations and has collaborated with top corporate partners and government entities to amplify support for the arts. With extensive experience as a panelist and advisor for organizations like the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, the New York State Council on the Arts, and National Endowment for the Arts, Moe brings a deep understanding of cultural policy and funding ecosystems. He is also a current Board Member of The Chocolate Factory Theater.
Moe holds an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and is completing his Executive MBA at Columbia Business School, where he focuses on arts leadership, strategy, and building innovative partnerships.
