Kurt Clare is a fundraiser, event curator, and former opera singer based in Manhattan. Raised in California and Michigan, he holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the University of Michigan and is a proud alumnus of Interlochen Arts Academy.
Before joining LMCC in 2026 as Director of Individual Giving, Kurt served as Senior Manager of Events & Individual Giving at Kaufman Music Center. During his tenure, he doubled revenue for the Center’s largest community fundraiser, Day of Musical Action, managed the annual Gala, and led renewal and stewardship strategies for the annual fund portfolio. At LMCC, Kurt leads individual donor cultivation, Board engagement, and major events, including the annual Downtown Dinner. He is passionate about increasing access to the arts and creating thoughtful, aesthetically engaging environments.
