Esther Nguyen was brought up in Paris, France as a child, and Saigon, Vietnam as a teenager before moving to New York City in 2016 for higher education. She attended New York University and graduated with a degree in Urban Design and Architecture and a minor in Studio Art. Strongly identifying through her multi-cultural background and diverse upbringing, she is passionate about the arts, urban culture, community & service and the space in which they intersect. She is especially interested in taking on roles where she is able to support people through promoting the arts. Esther was a Resident Assistant at NYU for two years, which fueled her passion for arts & cultural programming. In 2019 she began her relationship with LMCC and became acquainted with non profit work as an Artist Residencies Intern. She returned again in 2021 as a Visitor Engagement Associate at the Arts Center on Governors Island.
Esther currently supports all aspects of the administration and implementation of LMCC’s multidisciplinary residency programs.
