Manhattan Arts Grants Information Sessions

LMCC welcomes Manhattan-based artists, collectives, and organizations across artistic disciplines, practices, and backgrounds to apply to the 2022 Manhattan Arts Grants.

Follow the steps below to join us at a virtual information session this summer.

1. Determine which program(s) you would like to apply to

Creative Engagement for arts events and programming in any discipline anywhere in the borough of Manhattan.

Creative Learning for community arts education and participatory art-making projects in any discipline anywhere in the borough of Manhattan.  

UMEZ Arts Engagement for arts presentations and programming in any discipline anywhere in Upper Manhattan.

2. Register for an information session webinar

In support of the health and safety of our communities, LMCC will continue to offer all grant information sessions virtually this summer. Scroll down for the full schedule of online events.

All sessions will have live captions. Attendance and participation over the phone is also available.

First-time applicants are required to attend an interactive information session webinar.

Returning applicants who have previously attended an information session may participate in an information session webinar OR access a recorded session. Recorded sessions are available in English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

All sessions cover two grant programs. Make sure to attend a session relevant to the program you are interested in.

City Artist Corps

LMCC is proud to partner with the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), with support from the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) as well as Queens Theatre (QT), on the City Artist Corps Grants program. The program will distribute one-time $5,000 grants to over 3,000 individual artists disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 to help sustain their practice and engage the public across New York City's five boroughs this summer.
