From June 10-27, 2021, LMCC presented the 20th edition of River To River, Downtown New York City’s completely free summer arts festival.
From its origins in the aftermath of 9/11 to the present context of the pandemic, River To River has long highlighted the fundamental role that creativity in all its forms plays in processes of recovery, resilience and renewal. All events are free and open to all.
Curated by Lili Chopra and Nanette Nelms, the wide-ranging program speaks to our current moment, offering new ways of seeing and connecting. In addition to the broad range of in-person events, digital films in the Festival’s program were streamed on LMCC’s website.
