‘Now all we know,’ Cristina Suazo + Sevinç Çalhanoğlu

Now we all know The lungs are passive participants in breathing, letting a feeling in to understand something finely reckoning with the emotions. What I feel when I press on my thumb, Where do I keep the memory of simple days, How are my eyes? Which organ grieves the exact amount of my pain, When somebody leaving us behind How do we feel in ourselves? Now we all know People are dying. Eventhough everything is I have food in the fridge, another diaphragm under the linens. I lost my appetite, circled the bed. my roof became a refuge, a flat refuge from the pell-mell, the stairs lead to the sunsets even in rainy days. I knew that the roof was there before the stairs, before it rains. By Cristina Suazo + Sevinç Çalhanoğlu
