BAIRA begins the next chapter in the collected and ongoing research of collaborative/creative duo Shaina Branfman and Bryan Strimpel (formerly BS Movement). Through teaching, performance and lifestyle the two endeavor to continuously contemplate and share the question; what does it mean to be brave? Branfman, from South Texas, holds a B.F.A from the University of Iowa. She completed her certification as a Movement Analyst at the Laban Institute of Movement Studies in New York City and completed studies in religion and philosophy at the New York All Faiths Seminary International where she was ordained as an Interfaith Minister. Shaina is currently a member of The Feath3r Theory.
