About Open Studios
Open Studios is a year-round series of events that brings public audiences closer to the creative process, inspiring and connecting them to artists, new ideas and perspectives, and other art-lovers. Programs range from studio visits to open rehearsals with performing artists and artist-led talks.
LMCC encourages audiences of all ages and backgrounds to engage with creative work and the individuals who make it, cultivating in the public a deeper appreciation for the process of creativity and an understanding of the role artists play in their communities.
Open Studios with Workspace Artists-in-Residence happens annually, and the next series of events will take place in 2019.
In addition to visiting the artists in the open plan studios, audiences will experience readings, work-in-process showings, and other time-based moments. Capacity is limited and RSVP is strongly suggested.
