Manhattan-based Artists: Apply for SU-CASA 2022!

We are thankful for the continued creativity, flexibility and generosity of artists sharing their practice with audiences throughout NYC, especially through the challenges of the past two years. In 2022, LMCC looks forward to even more moments of connection between our artists and greater NYC-community!

With this spirit of connection in mind, we're excited to announce the application is now open for our 2022 SU-CASA program! SU-CASA is a community arts engagement program that places artists and organizations at senior centers across the five boroughs of New York City. The program provides selected artists with a stipend in exchange for the creation and delivery of arts programming for older adults.

LMCC is proud to administer 30 residencies for individual artists this year on behalf of the borough of Manhattan. LMCC welcomes applications from Manhattan-based individual artists seeking residencies at participating senior centers in Manhattan. SU-CASA artists will engage participating members in an art project or series of cultural programs over the course of the residency. SU-CASA will take place in-person at senior centers from March – June 2022.
