What society would you build and how do we get there? Come to Belvedere Plaza in Battery Park City from this Saturday, August 15 to Tuesday, August 18 where you can write your thoughts onto an origami boat and add your creation to Muna Malik's installation.

Muna Malik’s Blessing of The Boats: River To River invites all of us to thoughtfully consider our role as individuals within our greater community.

After participating in Blessing of The Boats: River To River, take a short walk to Jean Shin's FloatingMAiZE + The Last Straw in the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place and Asiya Wadud's ECHO EXHIBIT in the Seaport District. Later this month starting August 20, view Mona Chalabi's 100 New Yorkers on 22 screens across the Westfield World Trade Center campus. 100 New Yorkers visualizes what the city’s population would look like if it were distilled from its ungraspable millions to a more relatable 100 individuals. In the lead-up to the U.S. 2020 presidential election, Chalabi will activate her characters through representation and voter participation statistics.
