Brandon Cournay is a Brooklyn-based creative leader and entrepreneur working at the intersection of performance, education, and arts administration. He currently serves as Executive Director and Producer of Dance Heginbotham and is the Founder, Executive Artistic Director of Dance Device Lab, an organization dedicated to delivering innovative educational experiences to dance studios nationwide, and an Assistant Line Producer at Lincoln Center.
His previous roles include Managing Director and Associate Artistic Director of KEIGWIN + COMPANY and Company Manager for Camille A. Brown & Dancers, along with positions at Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company, Cornfield Dance, and The Current Sessions.
Originally from Walled Lake, Michigan, Brandon earned his BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School. His performance career spans international stages and includes work with Mark Morris Dance Group, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Morphoses, KEIGWIN + COMPANY, among others. He has also contributed to a wide range of creative projects across theater, opera, television, film, and dance.
Drawing on his multifaceted experience as both an artist and administrator, Brandon brings a holistic perspective to his work—shaping strategic, collaborative, and financially sustainable models for contemporary arts organizations.
