“Slow Down: River To River” receives Emmy nomination
This year the New York Emmy Awards announced their nominations which included Slow Down: River to River along with other ALL ARTS productions Broadway Sandwich and Rising Artist.
ALL ARTS presented Slow Down: River To River, a Cyprian Films New York production directed by Liz Sargent last August. Slow Down: River To River is nominated under the Program/Special Category.
The film captures the themes of LMCC's 2019 River To River Festival curated by LMCC executive director of artistic programs Lili Chopra: Reflection, deceleration and stillness are captured from the filmmaker's perspective within the landscape of Lower Manhattan. In her meditative short film, Sargent captures the work of Yoko Ono, Pam Tanowitz, Ernesto Pujol, Jennifer Monson and more.
