2024-2025 Workspace Artists: Creating and Collaborating

Since September 2024, LMCC’s Workspace artists-in-residence have been fully immersed in their creative practices, transforming their studios into hubs of exploration and experimentation. The 2024-2025 cohort, pictured above, consists of nine visual artists and two writers, working across poetry, painting, sculpture, design, media arts and performance. Learn more about their individual practices below.

Since the start of their residency last fall, these artists have been hard at work in their office-space-turned-studios in the Financial District, where they will remain in residence through June 2025.

Join us in June for a public culminating Open Studio event, where you’ll have the chance to experience the artists’ work firsthand and see how their projects have evolved over the course of the residency. More details soon.

Workspace is LMCC’s longest-running residency program and part of our broader commitment to providing artists with free, collaborative spaces for creative development in New York City. Designed to support experimentation and professional growth, the nine-month residency transforms donated office space into studios where artists can take creative risks, collaborate, and engage in ongoing dialogue with peers and arts professionals.
