On July 16 from 1-4pm, celebrate City of Water Day with LMCC and Billion Oyster Project! Follow the flow of an oyster’s life with a variety of carnival games to learn about the importance of oysters in the city’s ecosystem, the life cycle of an oyster, and other marine organisms we find in our neighborhood. The annual festival—organized by the Waterfront Alliance—celebrates NYC’s surrounding waters with harbor tours, rowing and kayaking, races and children's activities.
