Chat Travieso receives award from YoungArts!
Chat Travieso (Process Space 2013, Paths To Pier 42 program alum, 2014) is an inaugural honoree of the Jorge M. Pérez Award! This award recognizes the contributions of Latinx artists who have succeeded in strengthening their community through artistic endeavors.
Simone Leigh & Firelei Báez receive United States Artists Fellowships
Simone Leigh (Workspace ’07-’08) and Firelei Báez (Workspace ’11-’12) receive United States Artists Fellowships for Visual Art. This fellowship gives unrestricted $50,000 awards to each of the artists.
