Leadership Transition at LMCC
On December 1, Craig Peterson will step down as President and CEO after years of dedicated service. While we are sad to see him go, we are incredibly grateful for the transformative impact he has made on LMCC’s mission and wish him all the best in his next chapter.
We are thrilled to announce that Moe Yousuf, LMCC’s Vice President of Institutional Advancement, will serve as Interim President and CEO. Moe brings a wealth of experience in artistic programming and producing, alongside leadership in strategy, fundraising, community engagement, and operations. At LMCC, Moe has overseen programs that support artists through regranting, residencies, and public engagement opportunities, including at the Arts Center at Governors Island. His career has included key roles at Abrons Arts Center, BRIC Arts Media, and Target Margin Theater, among other organizations, and Moe’s dedication to fostering creativity and innovation in the arts positions him to guide LMCC during this transition.
As we look ahead, LMCC is poised to enter an exciting new chapter, building on its legacy of empowering artists and engaging communities. Your continued support will be essential as we advance our mission and shape a vibrant future together in the coming year.
