Fundraising Fundamentals webinars begin this week!
Brush up on your fundraising skills at this summer’s Fundraising Fundamentals webinars on August 13, August 27 and September 10 covering project budgeting, selecting the best work samples for your proposal, and grantwriting basics for artists.
At each session, we will be joined by LMCC grantees; Juango Juan J Gutiérrez and Ashleigh Hendrix of Los Pleneros de la 21, artist Carlos David, and Leticia Rodríguez of La Casa de la Herencia Cultural Puertorriqueña to hear about how they approach the topic in their own fundraising. LMCC staff will dive into the more technical aspects of grant seeking and help you develop valuable skills to use when applying to our grant programs or other opportunities.
Remember, the deadline to apply for our Manhattan Arts Grants is September 29, 2020, and information sessions and virtual office hours for Creative Engagement, Creative Learning, and UMEZ Arts Engagement, continue this month.
