Eiko Otake at the Arts Center at Governors Island

At last week's A Toast to Downtown virtual event, Eiko Otake performed in memory of her friend Sam Miller, a former President of LMCC and lifelong champion for dance and performance.

LMCC presented Eiko Otake with the 2020 Sam Miller Award for Performing Arts.

Eiko's film was shot at LMCC's Arts Center at Governors Island by Minos Papas and directed by Liz Sargent.
