NYC cultural nonprofits: complete the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs COVID-19 survey by Monday, March 1! Make your voice heard and help capture the impact this crisis has had on our city's cultural sector.

Building on Cultural Affairs’ survey and report from last year, this new survey will follow up on key findings; examine how groups have responded to the Black Lives Matter movement and last summer’s calls for racial justice; and develop a greater understanding of impacts on organizations led by and serving BIPOC residents and other communities hard hit by COVID-19.

Please complete the survey by the end of Monday, March 1. In order to plan for completing the survey, which is adapted from Americans for the Arts’ national COVID-19 survey, you can review all of the questions here before filling it out. It will likely take about 30 minutes to complete once you’ve gathered the relevant information, which may take additional time to collect.

We understand this is a significant time commitment, but the more of us respond, the more we collectively create a comprehensive tool for advocacy. Putting forward a unified voice lets us advocate powerfully for our community, and to fight for resources where they’re needed most. We are looking for responses from New York’s non-profit cultural community broadly defined, so please share this with anyone whose voice you think should be included.
