Gabriel Garcia Román (b. 1973) is a Harlem-based artist born in Zacatecas, Mexico.
Gabriel is a multi-disciplinary artist and craftsman. He was commissioned by Leslie-Lohman museum to present Queer Icons Procession for World Pride 2019. His group shows include Grafica America, Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, 2019; and Your Mirror: Portraits from the ICP Collection, International Center of Photography, New York, NY, 2019.
Gabriel is a recipient of the NFA Artist Grant, National Association of Latino Arts & Culture, 2018 and Professional Printmaking Program, Self-Help Graphics, 2017.
