Announcing our Honorees for The Downtown Dinner 2022!

We are thrilled to announce our honorees and celebrate their incredible contributions to New York City’s cultural landscape at The Downtown Dinner on May 18 at Cipriani 25 Broadway!

This year, we honor Pam Tanowitz with the Liberty Award for Artistic Leadership, recognizing her trailblazing work as a dancer and choreographer. LMCC Alumni awardees include Ezra Wube who will receive the Michael Richards Award for Visual Arts; Chia-Lun Chang will receive the Sarah Verdone Writing Award; and Harlem Chamber Players will receive the Sam Miller Award for Performing Arts.

The Downtown Dinner will gather some of the City’s most important business, civic and cultural leaders to celebrate the role that artists play in building a vibrant and resilient Downtown.

Festivities include an intimate performance by award-winning guitarist and composer Bill Frisell.

The Downtown Dinner raises essential funds to support Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC). Join us as we gather some of the City’s most important business, civic and cultural leaders to celebrate the role that artists play in building a vibrant and resilient Downtown.
