2020 Program Guidelines for SU-CASA are now live!

SU-CASA is a community arts engagement program that places artists in-residence at senior centers across Manhattan. Selected artists receive a stipend in exchange for creating and delivering arts programming for members at the senior centers.

LMCC is proud to administer 20 residencies for individual artists on behalf of the borough of Manhattan. LMCC welcomes applications from Manhattan-based individual artists seeking residencies at participating senior centers in Manhattan.

The Online Application Form will open on October 21, 2019 and the application deadline is Thursday, November 21, 2019 by 5PM EST.

We encourage you to read through the SU-CASA Program Guidelines to learn more about the program and ensure you and your project are eligible before the application opens. We will also be holding an information session on November 6 where you can get an overview of SU-CASA and have your questions answered by LMCC staff. RSVP today!

SU-CASA is supported by public funds from the New York City Council, in partnership with the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) and Department for the Aging (DFTA). It is carried out in collaboration with New York City's five local arts councils: Bronx Council on the Arts, Brooklyn Arts Council, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Queens Council on the Arts, and Staten Island Arts.
