2026 Jadin Wong Fellowship In Dance → 3/25
The Asian American Arts Alliance (A4), with support from the New York Community Trust, is pleased to administer the 2026 Jadin Wong Fellowship for an emerging New York City–based Asian American dance artist/choreographer.
Astor Place Plaza Student Art Competition → 3/31
About four million people pass through Astor Place Plaza each month—and hardly any of them stop to look at the utility boxes that give the so-called “heart of Greenwich Village” its pulse. At Village Alliance, we see that as a missed opportunity.
KODA Utopia Artist Residency → 3/31
KODA offers an artist residency program for two mid-career, female-identifying and/or non-binary artists who create conceptual and socially engaged work. The Fall 2026 residency will span from August 1-October 31, 2026. The program is placed under the theme of Utopia.

Pennumbra Foundation Workspace and Risograph Residency → 4/1
As a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to be a comprehensive resource for photographers at any level Penumbra Foundation is proud to offer a program dedicated to facilitate emerging artists with time, workspace, resources and support to get them and their work closer to the public in one of the most vibrant art cities in the world.
Fire Island Artist Residency → 4/1
Fire Island Artist Residency (FIAR), the first residency in the United States exclusively for artists identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, intersex, two-spirit or queer, annually accepts applications for its prestigious and internationally recognized summer program.
Brooklyn Arts Exchange A-i-R Program → 4/2
Established in 1993, the AIR (Artist in Residence) program has supported over 70 dance, theater, and multidisciplinary performance artists across three decades. The program is designed as a process-oriented incubator, supporting artists who share BAX’s commitment to racial and cultural justice, whose work is still in development, and who are eager to deepen their artistic practice within a collaborative, cohort-based structure.
The 2027 Creative Capital Open Call → 4/2
The 2027 Creative Capital Open Call seeks proposals from individual artists in all 50 states for new artistic works in the Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Film, and Literature. The Creative Capital Award provides unrestricted project grants of up to $50,000 to individual artists to create new work. The new State of the Art Prize provides unrestricted artist grants of $10,000.
More Art’s Engaging Artists Commission → 4/9
More Art’s Engaging Artists Commission is an opportunity for early career artists focused on the incubation and commissioning of a public art project and carries an $8000 award to realize the project, plus curatorial, conceptual, budgetary, and logistical mentorship.
Call for Performers: Abrons EXP → 4/12
Abrons EXP is a new live music series in the heart of the Lower East Side. Abrons Arts Center’s Experimental Theater, a flexible blackbox theater, will host showcases organized by music curators and artists at a discounted rate.
WFF Housing Stability Grant for Artists (WFF HSG) → 4/14
The program provides grants of $30,000, distributed over three years, to NYC-based visual artists in need who are seeking support for stable housing. In 2026 the WFF HSG will award grants to five artists.
New Dance Work By Emerging Choreographer → 4/17
Accent Dance NYC is seeking a professional, experienced, emerging choreographer to create a new dance work for our company. Choreographers should feel comfortable creating a 10-15 minute work in approximately a 4 week time period.
Open Call: The MACRO Project Billboard Exhibition → 4/19
The MACRO Project invites New York State artists to submit original artworks to be selected for display on billboards located on well-trafficked roads in the Finger Lakes region.
PAC NYC Democracy Cycle 2026 → 4/28
In January 2024, The Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) and Civis Foundation partnered to launch The Democracy Cycle, a commissioning program designed to support new works that illuminate
the promise, practice, imperfection, and opportunity of democracy.
2026 Vilcek Foundation Grants for Nonprofits → 4/30
The Vilcek Foundation will award a total of $200,000 in new grants to select nonprofits working to champion immigrants and the arts and sciences who apply in 2026.

Landromat Project: Create & Connect Fund → 5/1
The Bed-Stuy Create & Connect Fund is a hyperlocal micro-grant program offered annually and managed by The LP. The Fund seeds and supports the creative ideas or civic actions of artists, cultural practitioners, community organizers, activists, and neighbors whose proposals aim to enrich community life in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
Anonymous Was A Woman Grants → 5/7
The Anonymous Was A Woman Environmental Art Grants (AWAW EAG) provides grants of up to $20,000 to environmental art projects led by women, transgender, and gender-nonconforming artists in the United States and U.S. Territories.
Artist in Residence at The Latinx Project → 5/13
The Latinx Project is thrilled to announce the next cycle of the Artist-in-Residence program open to emerging and mid-career artists based in the United States. As part of the Artist-in-Residence program, the selected artist will present a solo exhibition on campus with the option of curatorial support and a public program.
VIA Art Fund: Artistic Production Grant → 5/21
VIA’s Artistic Production Grants fund the production of newly commissioned works of visual art exhibited beyond museum walls, in the public realm, or in non-traditional exhibition environments.
