The 2022 edition of the River To River Festival begins on June 12 and runs through June 26!
This year, we bring you a
- parade of cetaceans in Lower Manhattan
- a story of a girl who, by refusing to straighten her hair and succumb to the painful suppression of her identity, allows her resistance, strength, and power to grow
- a dance party on the Lower East Side that draws upon the long tradition of creolized expressive arts to create new ideas of home and place
- a performance that requests you to leave your digital devices at home in order to join another world that brings you closer to the sun and your body
