Saifa Khan (she/her) is a Queens-born Bangladeshi American writer, fiber artist, and self-proclaimed hobby collector. She is passionate about engaging with writers and artists of color, particularly those who are emerging or youth. She is also an ardent supporter of organizations that are primarily community-focused and/or work toward improving education accessibility and has offered her skills to local NYC-based nonprofits in these fields, such as 826NYC, Malikah, and Asiyah Women’s Center.
Prior to joining LMCC, Saifa held positions ranging from development to marketing at Kundiman, Asian Cultural Council, and Hearst Television. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Baruch College and now works with the Institutional Advancement team at LMCC.
