THE 2024-2025 WORKSPACE COHORT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!

THE 2025-2026 OPEN CALL WILL TAKE PLACE IN SPRING 2025.

LMCC’s longest running residency program, Workspace, is a nine-month studio-based program that focuses on the creative process and cohort development of artists.

Workspace nurtures experimentation, creative risk taking, collaboration, learning and skill sharing through regular opportunities for dialogue with peers and arts professionals. Situated within donated office space each year, Workspace offers a unique opportunity to reimagine what it means to work in Lower Manhattan. Participating artists are provided round-the-clock access to semi-private studio spaces and are expected to engage with the cohort for the full duration of the nine-month program.

LMCC seeks to create a welcoming, diverse, and dynamic cohort of individuals working across disciplines, including but not limited to visual arts, film, performance art, social practice, design, digital media, and the literary arts. Applicants should review program offerings to determine applicability to their practice.

Applications for Workspace 2024-25 are now closed. Applicants will be notified in August 2024. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to individual calls or emails about results prior to notification.
