About Open Studios
Open Studios is a year-round series of events that brings public audiences closer to the creative process, inspiring and connecting them to artists, new ideas and perspectives, and other art-lovers. Programs range from studio visits to open rehearsals with performing artists and artist-led talks.
LMCC encourages audiences of all ages and backgrounds to engage with creative work and the individuals who make it, cultivating in the public a deeper appreciation for the process of creativity and an understanding of the role artists play in their communities.
Open Studios with Workspace Artists-in-Residence takes place May 11-12, 2018! This free, two-day, art-filled event celebrates the work of 16 artists who are working across all disciplines and genres.
In addition to visiting the artists in the open plan studios, audiences will experience readings, work-in-process showings, and other time-based moments. Capacity is limited and RSVP is strongly suggested.
Open Studios takes place at 101 Greenwich, 15th floor, on May 11, 6-9pm, and May 12, 1-8pm.
