LMCC’s Manhattan Arts Grants recognize the vital role that the arts contribute to shaping New York City’s resilience and vibrant diversity. In 2025, LMCC awarded over $1.6 million to 276 arts programs in every Manhattan neighborhood.
The 2026 Manhattan Arts Grants will provide artists and arts organizations with grants that range from $4,000 to $16,000 for a single project.
We are thrilled to invite Manhattan-based individual artists, collectives, and non-profit organizations working across all artistic disciplines, backgrounds and neighborhoods to apply for project support to bring their 2026 projects to life. Review application guidelines for eligibility.
Join us for an Information Session. Information Sessions offer technical assistance and application guidance and are available in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese. Along with our application guidelines and FAQ resources for applicants, Information Sessions provide instruction to navigate our grant opportunities and to prepare a strong application.
New applicants are required to attend an interactive information session or watch a recorded session before applying.

SU-CASA
LMCC’s SU-CASA Creative Aging Residency pairs individual artists or small collectives of two artists with Manhattan older adult centers to design and complete interactive arts learning projects. Residency activities must occur between January and June 2026. Read application guidelines for eligibility and instructions to apply.
Embodying the spirit of healthy aging through the arts, SU-CASA Creative Aging Residency welcomes artists of all disciplines interested in guiding process-based learning and hands-on art-making with older learners of diverse abilities. No previous teaching or experience working with older adults is required. Artists comfortable leading projects in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese are highly encouraged to apply!
