This season we are opening LMCC’s archive and sharing moments from our fifty plus years across New York City. You will see projects that unfolded on sidewalks, in storefronts, on ferries, and along the river’s edge. Each week, we'll be highlighting a public work from our 50+ year archive, showcasing how LMCC has evolved to meet New York City’s needs, from downtown storefronts to studios in the World Trade Center and the Arts Center at Governors Island. We are looking back not out of nostalgia but out of curiosity and gratitude for everything this community has built together and for what is still to come.
Your support today keeps these stories alive. No single gift funds an entire residency or performance, but it is the collective strength of this community that makes it possible. Each year, hundreds of people who care about artists give what they can, and together those contributions sustain residencies, exhibitions, and public programs that reach thousands of New Yorkers.
If you believe that art keeps this city alive, make a gift to LMCC today.
