Rosemary DeMarco

Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Rosemary is a practicing visual artist with a distinct passion for life and a can-do attitude. Rosemary went to New College of Florida for undergrad where she received dual degrees in Performance Studies and Sociology. Her thesis was an investigation of community ties and empowerment through an in-depth content analysis of New Orleans Bounce. She is currently pursuing her MPS in Arts and Cultural Management at Pratt Institute where she is focused on allocating funds and increasing representation towards black visual artists in New York City. She started at LMCC as a Visitor Engagement Associate and before that she worked at Residency Unlimited, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft with artist Simone Leigh, The Creative Alliance of New Orleans, the Asolo Repertory Theatre, and as a Peer Health educator and community organizer at Planned Parenthood. She is passionate about using her privilege and interests to bridge gaps between accessibility and visibility in the art world.

Rosemary is responsible for all aspects of administration, facilities operations and building management for LMCC spaces
