Lindsay was born in New York, but through her passion for art has worked and studied in Paris, the U.K. and China. She felt a strong connection to the visual arts from an early age, but quickly learned she was better suited to writing about art than making it herself. She channeled this interest into a dual degree from NYU in Art History and Global Liberal Studies, with a concentration in Contemporary Culture and Creative Production. After graduating, Lindsay worked as a gallery assistant in New York, but soon felt the pull of academia and left to pursue her Master’s degree in Curatorial Practice at The Glasgow School of Art. She curated several independent exhibitions while in Glasgow, forming deeply personal and creative relationships with artists and collaborators. Lindsay was delighted to join LMCC in 2020 after returning from her studies, and she is excited to continue supporting artistic platforms in her home city.
Lindsay supports the Public Programs team to collaboratively develop and produce exhibitions and programming at The Arts Center at Governors Island.
