Joining its development department as an assistant in 2017, from 2018 to 2020 Cole served as Film Forum’s Institutional Giving Coordinator, managing a robust calendar of grant and reporting deadlines and identifying new sources of institutional funding.
A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a B.A. in Cinema Studies, Cole has also worked as a production assistant for independent film producer Alicia Van Couvering (Tiny Furniture, Happy Christmas) and documentary filmmaker Matt Wolf (It’s Me, Hilary: The Man Who Drew Eloise, Recorder: The Marion Stokes Project). In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing and diversifying his music library.
