Bora was born in South Korea where she passed her childhood unobjectionably. At the age of nine she moved to North Carolina, and thence to California, where she made thorough acquaintance with its Northern and Southern halves. A classically trained pianist, quondam polyglot, and devotee of the cinema, Bora spent periods working at prominent film archives and teaching English to children in Nepal before moving to Manhattan. Beyond her fondness for Classical Hollywood Cinema and the works of Rachmaninoff, Bora enjoys a wide variety of art forms.
Bora oversees all aspects of LMCC’s Workspace and Arts Center residency programs.
