“I attended a performance in May as part of the Workers Unite! Film Festival. Held at the old lithographic union hall, it had a different feel, it was set in a real auditorium with no work at their prices. Don’t forget this!” – In These Times – April 10, 2016

The Workers Unite Film Festival is a celebration of global labor solidarity and is the only labor film festival in New York. The Festival aims to showcase student and professional films from the United States and around the world which publicize and highlight the struggles, successes, and daily lives of all workers in their efforts to unite and organize for better living conditions and social justice. In addition to hosting a series of screenings, talks and other events throughout the year, the Festival also provides aid, support, an audience, and a community to encourage the next generation of socially conscious filmmakers and labor activists. WUFF hosts an activist filmmaker bootcamp each season.
