Tina Satter/Half Straddle is a Brooklyn-based artist who writes and directs new plays, performances, and videos, often in collaboration with members of Half Straddle and other artists. Works by Half Straddle include the Ancient Lives The Kitchen, New York, NY (2015); House of Dance, (premiered) Abrons Art Center, New York, NY (2013); PS122’s COIL Festival (reprised), New York, NY (2014) and presented internationally at Culturgest, Lisbon, Portugal (2015); Kyoto Experiment, Kyoto, Japan (2014); Zürcher Theater Spektakel, Zurich, Germany (2014). Richard Maxwell and the New York City Players commissioned House of Dance.

Tina Satter received a B.A. Bowdoin College and an M.A. from Reed College. Satter attended the M.F.A. Playwriting Program at Brooklyn College (2007-2009).
