The India Center is a New York-based organization with the mission to promote Traditional Indian Arts among both children of the Indian Diaspora as well as non-Indian children. The Saraswati Classical Arts Festival, which began in 2007 as a three-hour event with 26 performers and has since grown into a full-day event hosted by Baruch Performing Arts Center, and showcases 70 artists from six schools. The Natraj Folk Arts Festival, launched in 2008, has grown to include Yoga, Ayurveda (Medicine), Vasthu (Architecture), Indian Prose, and Indian poetry. The India Center hosted events during Baisakhi (Spring) Festival, Holi (Colors) Festival and gave free training in 3-camera TV production, field camera and editing.
