The Equus Projects is a New York-based performance group that creates large-scale performance works for dancers and horses showcasing kinetic communication and physical listening. Beyond performance, the company is known for its innovative teaching for dancers, equestrians, medical students, and engineers. OnSite NYC, one of The Equus Projects’ programs, creates site-specific performance works that focus on visceral engagement with the natural and cultural environment. On-Site investigates dancing in real time, strategic decision-making, and choreographic accountability. The Equus Projects has performed at the River To River Festival, Tudor City Greens, Garden Six B, and Ligne Roset. They have also created a traveling installation that was presented on Wall Street.
