Stacey Robinson is Bronx-based artist born in the Bronx, NY. She is a performer and writer whose work explores trauma, memory, and transcendence. Her one-woman show, Quiet Frenzy, was included in solo/black/woman: scripts, interviews, and essays, Northwestern University Press (2013). Quiet Frenzy has been performed at JACK, Brooklyn, NY (2013), and The Warfield Center for African & African American Studies, Performing Blackness Series & Symposium, University of Texas, Austin (2011). Her acting credits include Duat, Soho Rep Theatre (2016); and Quiet, Comfort, Hoi Polloi, JACK (2016). Her awards include Bronx Recognizes Its Own (BRIO) Award, Bronx Council on the Arts, the Bronx, NY (2009). Robinson received her B.F.A. from Brown University.
