ruby onyinyechi amanze (b. 1982) is a Brooklyn-based artist born in Nigeria. Her group exhibitions include Mutations, Tiwani Contemporary, London (2014); BRIC Brooklyn Biennial, BRIC Arts and Media House, Brooklyn, NY (2014); and no one belongs here more than you, Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos, Nigeria (2013).

amanze was an Artist-in-Residence at BRIC Visual Arts Residency (2014) and an Artist-in-Residence at Gallery Aferro, Newark, NJ (2012). She is also a recipient of the Fulbright Scholars Award for Teaching/Research at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2013). amanze received her B.F.A. from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University and her M.F.A. from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
