No Lands is the recording project of electronic musician and sound artist Michael Hammonds. He creates works at the intersection of noise, sound, song, and technology. No Lands creates music with a variety of sound sources and noise-making devices, including custom-built software analog electronics alongside more traditional musical tools like guitars and the human voice. No Lands work includes Negative Space (an album of original electronic compositions), released by New Amsterdam Records (2014). Hammonds has performed with yMusic, Matmos, Shara Worden, So Percussion, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, Residentie Orkest, Signal, and the Princeton Laptop Orchestra in venues including The Kitchen, Le Poisson Rouge, Zankel Hall, and the Kaufman Center.
