Kathleen Granados is a New York-based artist. Her practice focuses on the use of fiber-based materials and found objects to explore relationships between intimate spaces and the corporeal and the collective consciousness. Her solo exhibitions include Touch History, Morris-Jumel Mansion (2014). Her group exhibitions include i found god in myself – a dedication to the works of Ntozake Shange, The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture (2014); Home, The Sugar Hill Apartments (2014) and La Bienal 2013: Here is Where We Jump, El Museo del Barrio (2013). Granados received a B.F.A. from The Fashion Institute of Technology.
