Judd Greenstein (b. 1979) is a Massachusetts-based artist born in New York. Greenstein is a composer of pulse-driven music that draws from a wide palette of influences, and is an avid promoter of new music in New York City and beyond.
Recent performances include The Answer, for piano quintet, commissioned by BalletCollective; My City, for vocalist DM Stith, The Crossing, and the American Composers Orchestra; Change, for the San Diego Symphony and North Carolina Symphony: Nothing New, for Roomful of Teeth and NOW Ensemble; and A Serious Man, for The Claremont Trio. Residencies and awards include Sundance New Frontier Story Lab, Utah (2013); Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Jewish Artists, New York (2010-2012); Tanglewood Music Center Fellowship, Massachusetts (2004); and Bang on a Can Summer Institute, Massachusetts (2002). Greenstein received a B.A. from Williams College and an M.M from Yale School of Music.
